ITG Brands, a member of the Imperial Brands PLC family, has appointed Kim Reed President and CEO effective June 1. Sales Manager Patrick Hurd left Kretek International Inc. after two decades with the company. He left the company to join his family in Canada.
Hurd joined Kretek in November 2000 when it launched its Canadian subsidiary, Kretek Canada. Under his leadership as Managing Director, Kretek Canada experienced tremendous growth for 11 years before moving to the United States in June 2011 to launch Ventura Cigar Co. of Kretek International as Managing Director.
He was promoted to Vice President of Sales in 2013 and Director of Sales in 2017.
Kretek also made a series of promotions to senior management. Jason Carignan, Marketing Director of Kretek, becomes President of Phillips & King International and TMG International.
