A household name in the Middle East, Sabrina Ghayour is an Anglo-Iranian chef and author who has written a series of books on gastronomy, the most popular being Persiana. The self-taught culinary artist created recipes inspired by Middle Eastern flavors and used their distinct ingredients to create something authentic.

While an argument with his partners forced him to leave his Michelin-starred establishment Gaggan earlier this year, he quickly bounced back with another restaurant named Gaggan Anand.
Anand’s signature preparation, Lick It Up, allows diners to smell the food by licking the plate, literally. This is a platter of chutneys, purees and jams including a mango yuzu gel, green pea puree, onion jam and chilli chutney. Designed to be enjoyed without cutlery, Lick It Up brings together sweet, sour and spicy flavors.

Chinese-American chef Ken Hom, also known as the master of Asian cuisine, has made his mark in the culinary world with his âwokâ. Specializing in Chinese cuisine, Ken was named an Honorary Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his services to the culinary arts in 2009. Six years later, his restaurant MEE was awarded a Michelin star just over one year after its inauguration. .

Chef Virgilio MartÃnez has added the wow factor to traditional Peruvian cuisine by reinventing it with modern cooking techniques and using contemporary ingredients. Collectively, his offbeat approach to gastronomy has contributed to the current stature. Its modern Peruvian-style restaurant Lima in London won a Michelin star in 2014.
Although MartÃnez didn’t list a particular dish as a signature item, his Nanay waters are one of the most popular creations to date.
